Have you arrived in Famara, want to surf but do not have a board. Zoo Park can help, we have a great range of boards for hire at very competitive prices.

Sometimes travelling with your surfboard can be a real pain. Paying excess baggage and all the hassle of travelling around with such a large piece of baggage. By hiring a board locally you can save all of these problems, just arrive, hire and surf.

Surfboard rental prices

All of our boards are good quality and made by the French company HOFF. We have boards ranging in size from 6'4 to 9'2.

If you rent one of our boards for more than one day then you can always come back and change your board until you find the size and shap that suits your surfing style the best.

All we ask of for a deposit of 50 euros plus a form of id.

Rental prices are:

1 day for 9 euros

1 week for 50 euros

2 weeks for 95 euros

A few surf pointers

if you have been away from surfing for a while it might be a good idea to have a few quick surf lessons. This could save you a lot of time getting orientated to a new beach and new equipment. Remember that as a rule the longer and bigger the surfboard the more stable it is and therefore easier to get and up ride. The payoff is that larger boards do not turn as easily so faster and more radical direction changes are more difficult.

Once in Famara you will not really need transport for your surfing. The shop is only a few seconds from Famara beach.
